ABOUT US
Audrey Howard and her husband Peter have a dairy farm in Darnhall, Cheshire and in 2007 they decided that they wanted to diversify into running a boarding kennels business. They have a lovely setting with close proximity to Winsford, Middlewich, Tarporley and Nantwich - potentially a large customer base!
Being dog owners themselves, they are committed to providing very high standards of accomodation and care for their canine customers, giving the owners confidence that they are leaving their prized pets in safe, caring hands.
The kennels and surrounding area have been completed to the highest standards.
What qualifications do the owners have?
Audrey has completed several training courses, the needs of which were analysed with a Rural Enterprise Gateway (REG) Rural Skill Broker and part funded by the REG, in preparation for the opening of the kennels. This included a 5-day course in Kennel and Cattery Managment run at the College of Animal Welfare Dog Behaviour, which covered amongst other things canine first aid and dog grooming.
Audrey had gained valuable knowledge and skills by attending this training and she feels that this preparation has been invaluable. It has given her the confidence to set up and run an excellent, professional service for her customers. The best testimony that they can have is that dogs who have stayed at the kennels before are very excited when they arrive back - great peace of mind for the owners!
Can I have a tour of the kennels before I decide to book my dog(s) in?
Audrey and Peter would be delighted to show you round their facilities before you decide to book. To arrange this, please call the kennels on the number at the top of this page.
